Atrius Health seeks a board-certified AP/CP pathologist with fellowship training and subspecialty boards, and an interest in clinical pathology, to provide high quality laboratory services to our patients in a multi-site practice. The candidate will rotate on the general surgical biopsy service, which includes GYN, GU and breast specimens and the GI service. May also rotate on cytopathology at our Core Lab with 8 other pathologists. He/she will also be appointed a medical directorship of up to three of our rapid response labs. The ideal candidate will have fellowship training. Experience as a section head of a lab or medical directorship is helpful, but not required.
Atrius is a multi-specialty group practice with 28 clinics with site labs and a core lab serving 665,000 patients in Boston and surrounding suburbs. The laboratory performs over 41,000 surgical, 38,000 cytologic and 3 million clinical lab tests per year at our state-of-the-art Core Laboratory located in Needham, just west of Boston. Our pathologists also direct 20 rapid response laboratories across the metro area, which, together with the Core Lab, perform over 3 million tests per year; 96% of our lab work is done in-house. Our ambulatory practices are located among the urban and suburban communities of Boston and Eastern Massachusetts.
